In a shocking turn of events, a group of hundreds of unidentified teenagers reportedly invaded a portion of the Kenyatta family’s property near the Nairobi Eastern Bypass.
The trespassers were armed with power saws and gained entry to the property by cutting through the bypass on the Kamakis side of the fence.
According to reports, the young people were also said to have taken livestock from the property and footage showed some of them using power saws to clear the property of the trees that had been planted there.
The reason for the invasion has not yet been determined, but the thugs are also accused of setting the company on fire.
The trespassers reportedly gained entrance to the property early in the morning. The land is a component of a Ksh500 billion Kenyatta family initiative to build a Northlands City. Over 250,000 people were anticipated to live in the housing development once it was finished.
This incident has raised concerns about security measures for high-profile properties in the area. It also highlights the need for enhanced security measures to safeguard such properties against similar incidents.
The authorities have yet to release any information about the perpetrators of this heinous act, but the investigation is ongoing. This incident serves as a stark reminder that even the most secure properties can fall victim to trespassers and thieves.
